December 2015 Fishing Report
Englewood & Boca Grande Monthly Fishing Updates
Finally some cooler has pushed into the area and the fish are starting to transition into their winter areas nicely. First to show up and one of my favorites is the pompano. They are here and feeding well on the right tide. Mixed in with the tasty pompano are trout, Spanish Mackeral, blue fish and ladyfish.

Redfish bite has been great as well. Lots of big reds still on the flats and on the feed. I expect These fish to stay around for awhile this winter with all the bait around.

Nearshore the bite is just getting better. Migratory fish are on the move and the gulf has been great lately. Bottom Fishing for snapper, sheepshead and grouper is good and will be getting better. The Mackeral and cobia as well as some triple tail are targets this month too. These boys took down a great king fish over a nearshore wreck.
Lots of great fishing coming up as we move into the cooler months. Give me a ring to get a day before there gone.
