Nov. 2014 Fishing Report

Englewood & Boca Grande Monthly Fishing Updates

November 7th, 2014 | Capt. Cameron Schurlknight

Finally we have reached the transition period here in southwest Florida. With two cold fronts under our belts many large predatory fish like cobia, kingfish and triple tails are on the move.

Our main focus has been fishing nearshore and having great success on triple tail. We have been averaging 5-7 triple tail a day, sight fishing them along structure. Even more fun than sight fishing these fish may be eating them. The best that swims in my opinion!

Also I have been fishing over a couple wrecks and finding cobia, kingfish and snapper. The big smoker kings have just arrived and so have the large cobia. We landed a cobia in the 50lb range this week! The big fish are here and hungry, come get some!
